We were thrilled to host our first indoor market on Sunday 19 March at Menzies Hall in Dandenong North. The market was a huge success, fully booked with a variety of local stall holders selling everything from homemade candles to Greek biscuits.
Originally, the market was held at Wacther Reserve in Keysborough from October last year, however due to weather conditions, the decision was made to move the market indoors. We were grateful to have Cr. Bob Milkovic from the City of Greater Dandenong officially open the market, welcoming everyone to the event.
The market, organised by the Foundation, will be held bi-monthly in 2023 and aims to raise much needed funds. All money raised from the stall holder fees and gold coin entry donations go towards gifting first-ever holidays.
We're excited to announce that the market has raised over $5,000 since its first market in October. This is a fantastic achievement, and we're grateful for the support from the local community and beyond.
We're looking forward to our upcoming markets and hope to see even more people attend and support our cause. Thank you to all the stallholders, volunteers, and attendees who made our first indoor market a huge success!
If you are interested in hosting a stall at one of our future markets please book via TryBooking, or if you have any questions please contact Rosemary on 0419 372 629 or email info@magicalgetawayfoundation.org
