Teague Rook, after working for twenty years in the entertainment industry, took a change of career into teaching primary school aged students.
Teaching opened Teague’s eyes to the everyday plight of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families and the impact of trauma.
As a father of three young children, he understands the difference that something as simple as a weekend away can have in giving families a break from the everyday routines that can overwhelm and impact hope.
Previously, Teague worked in the aged care and disabilities industry as a personal care assistant and was a graphic designer for several years before that.
